SHOOTING 'THROUGH THE LINE'

I have never been able to identify the person shooting, but smile at the polite bending over which shows either a lot of trust or a lot of respect!

This picture comes from Eric Parker's book "An Alphabet of Shooting" published by The Field in 1932. The photographs were by Niall Rankin and were pretty obviously posed to make the point, hence the laid back demeanour of the other guns and loaders! It is Plate X on page 29 in the chapter on Partridge Driving.
