Pair of Westley Richards 12g droplock shotguns completed in 1903. Built on scroll back, single selective trigger actions with patent hand detachable locks, removable cover plates, Westley snap lever work and automatic game safeties. Featuring traditional Westley scroll engraving and gold numbering 1&2 in the usual places. Replacement 28" barrels were fitted by Westley Richards in 1965 and choked 3/8" in right barrel and 5/8 in the left, with 2 3/4" chambers. Nicely figured straight hand stocks measure 14 1/2" to the centre of the leather covered recoil pad, the No. 1 gun has had a replacement stock at some point. The guns are neatly cased in the original double leather case. A classic pair of Westley droplock guns ready for the coming season.
