Chambered in Remington’s now classic .416 Remington which matches the performance of Rigby’s famed cartridge but with a shorter overall length, making it compatible with Remington’s long action Model 700. 

This rifle has a 24” barrel with island rear sight with a single standing Express sight and banded/hooded front sight with a removable hood and brass bead sight blade. The rifle stock has a RH cheekpiec with a high comb that works with the iron sights or a scope, cut checkering, and two recoil bar cross-bolts. The stock has a rosewood forend tip, grip cap and plugs over the recoil bars. Jeweled bolt and factory bottom metal.  

Rifle weighs 9 lbs. 12 oz and has a 13 ¼" LOP over the factory Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Rifle shows signs of use with a few marks on the left side, not so much on the right. Metal is good but blue a little thin at the muzzle. Overall the condition of the rifle is very good.
