Dakota Arms .330 Dakota Model 76 Safari is based on Dakota's excellent M76 control round feed action with a flat bottom, integral recoil lug, and dedicated action size for the Dakota Arms family of cartridges. In the Safari grade, the rifle has a 3+1 capacity, M70 type trigger and 3-position "wing" safety, one-piece bottom metal with a straddle floorplate and inside-the-bow release, and a two-panel checkered bolt knob.
The 23" Douglas barrel has an island rear sight, 1 standing Express sight, and a ramp front sight with a brass bead and flip-up night sight.
XXX grade Bastogne walnut stock featuring Dakota's elegant stock shape with a 13 5/8" LOP over the original Pachmayr "Decelerator" pad, a right hand shadow line cheekpiece, point skeleton grip cap, inletted rear sling swivel and barrel band front swivel, two-panel checkering on the grip and a wrap checkering on the forearm with an ebony forend tip.
Fitted with the original Talley dovetail mounts and 30mm Talley Lever Lock rings.
Introduced in the early 1990's and based on the .404 Jeffery case, the .330 Dakota shoots a 250gr, .338" caliber bullet 2900 fps at the muzzle with a muzzle energy (ME) of 4668 ft. lbs.
