Swift River Gunworks .35 Whelen Custom Bolt Action Rifle built on a standard length Mauser action with a new bolt shroud and Model 70 style safety, 4-panel checkered bolt knob, Blackburn straddle floor plate with inside-the-bow release and fitted with custom made bases with an integral peep sight on the rear base and Warne 1" QD rings. The floor plate and grip cap are engraved by Cullity & Sons in a bold scroll and seashell motif, and the 22" barrel has a banded/hooded front sight. All the metal is finished in a well done rust blue. 

The English walnut stock has a beaded RH cheekpiece, fleur de lis checkerin, a two-screw grip cap, a 14 7/8" LOP over a Niedner steel butt plate, two single stud sling swivels and an ebony forend tip.  

The rifle weighs 8 lbs. 13 oz. 

The rifle was made about 2006 or so and remains in excellent condition save for a few handling marks here or there on the stock. The metal and barrel's bore are also excellent.
