Stunning Westley Richards 28g Droplock Shotgun
Just in time to start some serious quail hunting is this sweet little 28 bore droplock shotgun. Unusual for our droplock shotgun format is the wooden panel with drop point behind the scroll back which is normally reserved for our droplock double rifles. It certainly adds a unique touch to the shotgun and as with all things Westley Richards, beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

Hi Peter
We have completed a few cases recently with the ‘toe under’ fitting so as to reduce the size of the case. Some clients are wanting to keep everything as compact as possible. It works really well with the small gauge guns.
Best regards

Hi peter
The client opted for the US designations of IC, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and Full. A fairly good range of Teague chokes that should cover most eventualities.

Hi Trigger
Just looking at the photos again and I noticed in the last photo that the toe of the stock is hidden beneath the barrels, isn’t this a ‘Churchill’ style, I don’t think I can recall seeing this in any Westley Richards case until now, I’m probably wrong but you will correct me I’m sure! Is it something that the client asked for to make the case just that little bit smaller?
It certainly doesn’t detract from the fact it’s a superb gun beautifully cased.
Best regards. Peter.

Hi Trigger
I see ‘Westley Richards’ have yet again created an individual beautiful gun, a gun the owner will be so proud to use and be seen with!
At 5lbs 4ozs it shouldn’t cause the user any fatigue on a day’s quail shooting, an ideal gun at an ideal weight, beautifully cased.
If the client gets fed up with it let me know, I will give it a good home.
Would it be possible to let me know what range of choking the client has chosen with the Teague multi chokes?
And to the client, great choice!
Kind regards. Peter.
