Over the coming weeks, The Explora will run a special series looking more closely at individual rifles from the collection, their histories, specifications and distinguishing features.
At the heart of the collection are some exceptional examples of the great British Nitro Express rifle, including both .577 NE and .600 NE doubles from the best London houses, alongside several other notable rifles.
Beginning on Friday, 6th November, each featured rifle will be the subject of its own Explora article and will be released for sale through the Westley Richards website. The series will run alongside our usual Explora posts, gradually revealing the collection before we bring the rifles together for a final overview.
For now, this is a small preview of a collection we look forward to sharing in much greater detail, and a reflection of Westley Richards's longstanding expertise in sourcing and offering high-grade pre-owned guns and rifles. Each piece is selected for its quality, condition and character, from important vintage sporting arms to exceptional modern examples.
As the series unfolds, we invite clients and collectors to follow each new arrival and explore the wider, regularly updated selection of fine pre-owned guns and rifles available through the Westley Richards website.
Westley Richards has an outstanding reputation for supplying a comprehensive selection of pre-owned guns and rifles. We pride ourselves on our in depth knowledge of the many sporting arms built over the last 200 years, placing particular emphasis on big game rifles, like the 577 Nitro Express, 505 Gibbs and 425 Westley Richards.
