RAJA OF KASHMIR'S HOLLAND & HOLLAND 240 ROYAL

We first purchased this .240 Royal in India about 15 years ago and on repatriating it here to England did some work including fitting a new telescope, case hardening the rifle and fitting it in a lightweight case. The rifle was in excellent condition and had the original stock length of 14.5 inches without any recoil pad which is unusual to find on the Indian guns. It is always nice to put a face to the original owner, The Maharajah of Kashmir who took delivery in 1926.
