This .500 rifle which is a few safari's old and very lightly used, is just passing through the workshop now, getting a service and polish up before being put up for sale.
With 24 inch barrels, 14 3/4" length of pull over leather pad, extra locks and cased it is a great opportunity for anyone who doesn't want to wait the years it takes for a new rifle to be built.

A fine looking piece indeed, if only! I do have a query, the drop plate beneath the action, am I right in thinking it is blued as opposed to case hardened like the action block itself? I am no expert, but am interested to know why it looks different.

Simon as was my luck, someone out there is about to share the same joy I did when I received my new Double Rifle without waiting the necessary time it takes to build one…I got lucky also!!!! Congratulation to whoever ends up with this beautiful work of art. That may be the finest Cape Buffalo I have ever seen engraved on a gun. I thought I saw his tail swish!! Please pass this onto the engraver for me Sir. I would also like to know the name of the Artist that did this incredible work if you would.
