Gosh Darn Simon, won’t you ask your followers easy questions, like if we should go to war….etc. What great engraving this is Simon, the rose and scroll is normally not my favorite, but this gun really rocks my boat…so to speak. But I think it is an easy choice, leave the color on this wonderful piece of art!!! My hats off to the family duo for such a great job of engraving, also to whoever did the case coloring, its great. As you may know I look at plenty engraved guns these days Simon, and this gun takes a back seat to no shotgun, I get to see today. Just my humble opinion Sir. If it was me, I too would leave the case colour hardening on. It looks splendid!
