New Westley Richards .375 H&H Magnum
The latest rifle to reach completion is this quite stunning .375 H&H magnum bolt action rifle. A close working relationship between the client and ourselves has resulted in the perfect balance between being aesthetically pleasing yet remaining a very practical and versatile hunting rifle. The highly figured exhibition grade stock coupled with the bold foliate scroll coverage chosen by the client marks his stamp of individuality and expresses his taste for design and embellishment, while the two quick detachable scopes and the .375 calibre, means this rifle will be at home on a wide variety of hunts around the world.

I was the lucky owner of such a rifle (second hand) when living in Rhodesia in the 1970s and it never let me down. My friends all commented on the one-shot kills. Kynoch flat nose solids and RWS soft points in 300gr were my preferred ammunition.

Hi Ricky
Another “glorious rifle” completed, the client in collaboration with Westley Richards don’t seem to have missed out on any part of the rifle, every aspect has been delved into and only the best has surfaced!
The fabulous timber, the blacking, case colour and blue of the extractor and trigger have merged into the “glorious rifle” the client will be so proud to own and use!
When building such a rifle having iron sights in combination with telescopic sights is the comb of the stock raised to allow the user to get greater steadying with cheek against comb when taking that precision shot?
Best regards
Peter.
