This is the first year we have entered a team for the London Gunmakers Challenge Cup, possibly it is the first year we were even asked to enter a team as I cannot recall being offered the chance before! The event was generously hosted by Charles Hellis at the Atkin Grant & Lang Broomhill shooting ground.
We were all delighted when our young team from the bench, actioner's Sam Banner and Stuart Richards together with stocker and England Junior Olympic Trap team member Owen Hastings brought the London Cup back with them to Birmingham.
The winning team hosts the following years shoot and we have already heard rumbles and complaints from the Londoner's that they will have to come to Birmingham to try and win it back. I am sure it will do them good to come and see where all their guns come to be case hardened by St Ledger.
