Traditional Westley Richards 28 Bore Droplock
A traditional Westley Richards droplock in 28 bore was completed this week and due to head out to the USA. Whilst a greater portion of the guns and rifles being built at the factory today are of a more fancy engraving composition, it is always nice to see the care that goes into a traditional 'house' engraved gun.

Hi Allan
Many thanks for your question. This gun has fixed chokes at 1/4 in the right barrel and 1/2 in the left.
Best regards

Hello Trigger
I was idly wondering what chokes your client specified for his beautiful 28 bore? Were they the Teague chokes, or does a gun balance better with fixed chokes? I assume he asked for 2.75" chambers.

Hi Trigger
What a glorious traditional typical ‘Westley’ side by side built for a specific hunting pleasure! Fortunate indeed is the client who ordered such a handsome gun.
I adore beautiful timber on any finely made firearm, it’s such a compliment to the best of workmanship as displayed by your team at Westley Richards.
Best regards
Peter.
